IMBA's chapter in Grand Rapids, MI, has been successful at creating numerous opportunities for local riders, which is a testament to their vision and organization. To further compliment their existing trails, the chapter working with Great Lakes Regional Director Andy Williamson to host a Flow Trail Building School this past weekend. 18 people attended the event, which was lead by Trail Specialist Aaron Rogers and focused on creating fun, sustainable bike-optimized trails. The school was preceded by the construction of a demonstration trail that attendees could ride and help build to refine their techniques. With riders traveling from as far away as the state of Washington the knowledge they gained will be spread far and wide.
A portion of this project was supported by IMBA's Trail Building Fund.
