Community bike parks are gaining in popularity, with high-profile projects such as Valmont Bike Park and Rockburn Skills Park catching the imagination of mountain bikers across North America. Bike parks can provide amazing riding with pump tracks, dirt jumps, gravity flow lines, and technical skills areas arranged in a compact urban setting. IMBA’s Trail Solutions program has been involved in the development of bike parks from Florida to California, and the lessons learned over the past several years can help you make sure your bike park is approved, gets funded, and can be maintained over the years. This interactive workshop at IMBA's World Summit will include a field trip to nearby La Tierra Bike Park.
