Chapters, Find Your Magic Number

What's your chapter's "magic number" to earn enhanced revenue share with IMBA on membership dues? Not sure? Read on!

In 2016, IMBA introduced two categories of enhanced dues sharing to encourage chapters to help grow the association's overall membership. In order to participate a chapter must have been in the program for a full year. Read more about the chapter membership program and revenue split in this FAQ document

The first incentive category, which we are calling Regular Enhanced Dues Share, or "REDS," provides chapters a 50-percent dues split (an increase from the the baseline 40-percent split) of incremental revenue from membership dues during a financial quarter.

The second category, Super High Reach Enhanced Dues Share, or "SHREDS," gets chapters to a 50-percent revenue split of all dues received in a quarter.

Preliminary results from 2016 Q1 indicate that more than 70 chapters may qualify for enhanced dues share. We are hoping to see even a bigger group earn these incentives in Q2.

Let's keep this momentum going! Be sure to take advantage of the resources in the Ride and Support Local membership drive, which continues until May 31. See the REDS/SHREDS document for what we are calling the "magic number" for each chapter to qualify for REDS or SHREDS in Q2.

Find your chapter's magic number in the chart and you will know what you need to achieve to get a bigger piece of the pie.
