Destination highlight: Park City, Utah
For those of you who like to finish every long trail ride with an ice cold glass of your favorite local brew, we have some good news. When heading to South Lake Tahoe, the Basecamp Hotel, has all of your biking and beer needs covered.
The Basecamp Hotel, with their Bikes and Beers Package (running until December 1, 2015) is turning cold beer into a post ride tradition. With the package, the hotel will outfit riders with all of the necessary gear (if needed) and trail information and send them out to explore all of the premier trails that Lake Tahoe has to offer. When your legs have had enough, riders can head back to the hotel’s onsite Beer Garden for two complimentary glasses of frosty locally brewed draft beer and a sausage to fuel up for the next day on the trails.
The hotel, located near the Lake Tahoe basin and the Heavenly Gondola, is a 74 room retreat catering to mountain bike adventurers of all levels.
Besides the excellent beer, the Basecamp Hotel also offers amenities such as a rooftop hot tub, multiple fire pits, communal breakfast and dinner service, and an indoor bike lock room with tool access.
So if you've been itching to ride the IMBA Epic Armstrong to Strawberry or Tahoe Rim trails, leave the beer at home and head to the Basecamp Hotel, where biking and beer are becoming the new American tradition.
