Montana Mountain Bikers Serve 100 Hours on CDT

On Sunday, May 7, 25 cyclists from five towns across southwest Montana gathered on a chilly 37-degree morning at Homestake Pass just east of Butte for a trail workday on two sections of the Continental Divide Trail (CDT).  More than 13 miles of trail was cleared of beetle-killed downfall and drainage was improved on both routes.

Bike Advocates Connect with America's Great Outdoors Leaders

Last Friday IMBA joined the Mid-Atlantic Off Road Enthusiasts (MORE) and Bike Maryland at the dedication of the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail opening.  The Anacostia Riverwalk will be a 20-mile multi-use trail along the east and west banks of the Anacostia River stretching from Prince George's County, Maryland to the the tidal basin and National Mall in Washington, D.C.

D.C. Bike Ride A Success!

When hired by IMBA a little over a year ago I had no idea how much time I would be spending in Washington, D.C. I also had no idea just how much singletrack is accessible just outside the Beltway. Thanks to the work of the Mid Atlantic Off Road Enthusiasts and IMBA Trail Solutions, the IMBA Government Affairs team is able to host a bi-annual single track moutain bike excursion for our national conservation, bike advocacy and federal land management partners just outside of D.C.
