11:00, Bologna, Italy, Friday 10th April 2015. IMBA Trail Specialists Shane Wilson (USA) and Mark McClure (UK) have just arrived in mainland Europe. The pair are heading to Porretta Terme to deliver the first ever IMBA Trail Building School in Italy, however the imediate dilemma they face is how will they fit their luggage into the car at the airport!
Trail Solutions have been busy finishing off work on the jump area at Modi'in bike park in Israel. Trail Specialist Mark McClure has been in the country for the past two weeks working alongside the crew in Modi'in to design and build the first free urban bike park in the Middle East.
IMBA Trail Solutions is currently constructing the first urban bike park in China. The expansive bike park site is situated in the town of Gu'an in the province of Hebei, just south of Beijing. During the past 3 weeks the team have worked hard to construct over 20 trails at the huge 90 acre site, these include jump lines, pump tracks, cross country trails and a 3.6 km UCI specification XCE race track.
Kat Sweet, an IMBA ICP Instructor Trainer joined Trail Specialist and ICP certified instructor Mark McClure at Coldwater Mountain near Anniston, Alabama, to deliver an ICP (Instructor Certification Program) Level1 Ride Guide course to six local mountain bikers.
The training began in the late afternoon on Friday 14th March. The group had travelled to Anniston from across the states of Alabama and Georgia.
IMBA Trail Solutions Mark McClure joined volunteers from NEABA (North East Alabama Bicycle Association) to take part in the first trail maintenance day of 2014 at Coldwater Mountain, near Anniston, Alabama.
