The New England Mountain Bike Association (NEMBA) urges mountain bikers to speak out for improved access at Middlesex Fells, an urban park just outside Boston. The state agency managing the Fells has proposed a Trails Plan that, among other things, would provide for more bicycling opportunities.
NEMBA and IMBA hope you will take a moment to record your support for mountain biking. Don't delay, as comments must be recorded by Nov. 19.
It only takes a moment to record your comments on NEMBA's website.
More Info: Boston-area mountain bikers have worked closely with the Department of Conservation and Recreation to craft a bike-friendly trails plan for Middlesex Fells. Unfortunately, the Sierra Club, the Audubon Society and other groups are lobbing heavily to prevent trail improvement and more equitable access for mountain bikers. Read a recent update on NEMBA's website.
