Tell the Forest Service You Support a Trail Extension at the Grand Canyon
The Rainbow Rim Trail is a destination trail for mountain bikers around the West. The 18-mile trail takes riders through high alpine forests with five opportunities to overlook the Grand Canyon and unparalleled solitude. Riding on a remote rim of the Grand Canyon is a unique experience, especially considering the trails in Grand Canyon National Park are closed to bicycles.
The U.S. Forest Service has proposed an extension to the Rainbow Rim Trail, which is currently going through the NEPA public process.
Take Action! Sign IMBA's letter to the U.S. Forest Service supporting the extension of the Rainbow Rim trail.
If the proposed extended sections are completed, this trail will become the Grand Canyon experience for mountain bikers worldwide. Creating a complete singletrack loop will be a spectacular addition to the outdoor recreation opportunities in northern Arizona.
