"We want every kind of feature youíd potentially find on a trail," stated Trek Director of Product Development, Joe Vadeboncoeur. That is a trail designerís dream- design a great trail to test the capabilities of the something created by a great bike designer. The looped trail system will include everything: low gradient, greenway-like trail, a mountain cross course, swooping singletrack, North Shore-style features, switchbacks, rock gardens, log piles, and drops. Trail Solutions provided the field design, then educated Trek employees on proper construction and maintenance techniques so that they can build their own playground.
