Long Cane Trails of South Carolina subcontracted to Trail Solutions on the redesign of the Long Cane Horse Trail, part of which runs through a National Scenic Area, in order to ensure sustainable construction of a trail with serious drainage concerns in micaceous soils. Combining earthen causeway and drainage basin work, the trail has remained dry even during 3" rain storm events.
