    The Rides

Oh don't worry. There will be lots of riding.

As a model trails community, Park City is home to downhill, freeride, cross country, jump park and path riding options and we'll make sure you have plenty of time to explore all that the has to offer. Join one of the guided rides or hit the trail or the park on your own.

Saturday, June 21 will feature our big IMBA Epic ride - the Mid Mountain Trail. Join us on this classic Wasatch singletrack, which features lots of climbing, descending and ridge-top riding through aspen and pine forests. You will encounter truly extraordinary views of the area as you make your way around the Mid Mountain loop. Both intermediate and advanced riders will find this trail challenging and exciting. It offers amazing views and lots of high-altitude climbing. As a bonus, summer brings beautiful wildflowers.

IMBA's host club, the Mountain Trails Foundation, is a model of shared-use leadership, with non-motorized groups coming together to create amazing trails and maybe more important, a tight-knit trails community. Mountain Trails is also a great resource for trail maps and other information.

The Park City and Salt Lake City mountain biking communities will lead daily afternoon guided rides.

    More great riding opportunities:

Deer Valley Resort - Experience the thrill of biking at Deer Valley Resort, rated by Mountain Bike Action magazine as one of the ten best mountain bike destinations. Bikers and bikes are whisked up the mountain on the Silver Lake Express and Sterling Express chairlifts to an array of exciting options, including 55 miles of panoramic trails

Park City Mountain Resort - Park City's abundant selection of biking trails are great for all skill levels. Get a head-start uphill with a ride from Main Street on the Town Lift or from the PayDay Lift (located at the Resort's base area). A detailed trail map is available at the ticket windows (provided by Mountain Trails Foundation).

The Canyons - Great single track trails high in the mountains. Ride the gondola to 8,000 feet with your bike and access some of Park City's most popular trails including the famous Mid-Mountain Trail or Wasatch Crest trail.

Basin Recreation - Some of Basin Recreation's must-do trails are located in the North end of the Basin. The Glenwild Trails, which connect into the Cobblestone and Flying Dog Trails are a must!

If you are an adventurer, check out some of the areas best freeride directional trails built by Basin Recreation's own Bob Radke. The Drop-out and Ant Farm Trails will motivate users to climb back up for another thrill-seeking ride! This area is also accessed from the Glenwild Trailhead.

For those wanting a more urban experience, check out the Willow Creek Trails that spur off of the East 224 Connector Trail. Users can commute from Park City along the Mcleod Creek Trail, to Willow Creek and on out to Kimball Junction to the Glenwild system.. No need to get in your car!
