Info Source: IMBA has had extensive conversations with King Range Manager Gary Prichard-Peterson. Scott Adams, Outdoor Recreation Planner for the King Range NCA, confirmed that the agency has not issued any administrative order closing trails in the King Range, and has not posted trails as closed to bicycling. The new King Range management plan maintains that some trails are already closed, but IMBA has protested this aspect of the plan.  
             
Mendocino National Forest Sanhedrin North Trail 19N80 2.5 These two trails are shown on the Forest map, but not on a recent FS map of the proposed Wilderness. IMBA has spoken with rider Jeff Baxman who rode the 19N80 all the way across.

Snow Mountain-Skeleton Glade Cold Creek 8W18 6.2 4a&b Skeleton Glade area has excellent trail system and should remain open to bicycling. IMBA riders have explored the area and found it quite suitable. IMBA proposes a Protection Area, rather than Wilderness, to preserve both the land and cycling access.

Ukiah District - BLM Cache Creek Red Bud 5.8 8a&b Red Bud and Judge Davis trails in the Cache Creek WSA are "ways" and open to bikes. Perkins Creek Trail is not in WSA. IMBA proposes a Protection Area, rather than Wilderness, to preserve both the land and cycling access.

Cedar Roughs: No official existing trails, but great oportunity for future trails n/a
Info source: Cache Creek Coordinated Resource Management Plan (Dec., 2004) says Redbud and Judge Davis trails are ways and open to bikes. Greg Mangan, manager of the Cache Creek area said there are no administrative closures within Cache Creek wilderness proposal.
