Above-and-Beyond corporate supporter Specialized stepped up their support of mountain biking by sponsoring IMBAšs new California office. Staffing the office is Tom Ward, formerly the California State Parks Recreation Manager. Ward worked in the California State Parks system for 16 years, experience that will help him identify opportunities for new shared-use trails throughout the state.

Above-and-Beyond supporters Gary Fisher and Yakima are again sponsoring the Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Crew in 2006. The Crews will lead 70 IMBA Trailbuilding Schools this year while traveling coast-to-coast in 2006 Subaru Outbacks. The vehicles are outfitted with Yakima racks to carry their trailwork tools, camping gear and 2006 Gary Fisher mountain bikes. This past year IMBA's two Trail Care Crews led dozens of trail projects in 48 states, plus Canada and Europe. Subaru and IMBA are beginning their tenth year as partners in this important IMBA program.
