Above-and-Beyond corporate supporter Smith Sport Optics is offering individual members another good reason to increase their financial support of IMBA. For a limited time, when members at the Basic, Supporting, Big Wheel or Fat Tire Friend levels renew at the Trailbuilder level or higher, IMBA will provide a certificate for a free pair of sunglasses, compliments of Smith Optics. IMBA members can choose from 15 different styles in Smith's popular Interchangeable Performance riding line. That's a premium gift valued at up to $135! Many thanks go out to Smith Optics for offering this amazing membership premium.
Yakima stepped-up their support of IMBA at this year's Interbike trade show. The company arranged to have a mechanical bull at their Outdoor Demo booth and asked participants to donate to IMBA for each ride. The fundraiser, entitled "Buck for IMBA˛ was a grand success, not to mention a heck of a lot of fun!
Many thanks to IMBA corporate member BOB Trailers for providing prizes for the IMBA/BOB Trailers Trailwork Challenge on National Public Lands Day, Sept. 24. The company encouraged IMBA club involvement by donating an IBEX suspension trailer to help celebrate the events. This year's winning club is the Central Iowa Trail Association (CITA). CITA's event at Ashworth Park, in Des Moines, drew more than 30 volunteers. The group did trailwork and built a bridge to preserve the multi-use trail system.
Big thanks go out to IMBA corporate member, Dicke, Billig & Czaja, PLLC ‹ a Minneapolis-based firm that specializes in intellectual property law. Scott Lund, an IMBA member and a lawyer at the firm, has provided pro-bono services to IMBA during the past few months, working mostly on IMBA's trademarks and other intellectual property.
Welcome to IMBA's newest Corporate Members: Competitive Cyclist, Dicke Billig & Czaja PLLC, Downeast Bicycle Specialists, Fanatik Bike Co., Media Zone, Resort Municipality of Whistler, Shimano Canada, Trail Solutions Australia and Truvativ.
