Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Crew Program Rolls On

During the past eight years, the Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Crews have reached more than 150,000 people spreading the message of environmentally sustainable trails and promoting volunteer trailwork.

Since 1997:

  • 1,100 trails visited by the Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Crews
  • 8 different Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Crews
  • 800,000 volunteer hours led by Crews
  • 50 states and 12 countries visited by Crews
  • 5,000 days living out of a Subaru Outback
  • 600,000 miles in Subaru Outbacks

In first half of 2004:

  • 2 new Crews
  • 42,000 miles traveled
  • 1,600 people contacted
  • 40 Trailbuilding Schools
  • 4,200 volunteer hours
  • 1,000 miles on a mountain bike
