The Southern Oregon Mountain Bike Association established a new program called "First Sundays." On the first Sunday of every month trail enthusiasts participate in trailwork to improve southern Oregon's multi-use trails. The First Sundays program runs year-long and all trail users are encouraged to participate. Contact Dana Bandy at (541) 488-2453, or email for more info.

The Whatcom Independent Mountain Pedalers (WHIMPs) is joining forces with local dirt jumpers, bike shops, Kona Bicycle Company and the city Parks Department to develop a dirt jump park in Bellingham, WA. The proposed park is a great alternative to renegade jump construction. Most materials and labor will be donated.
