IMBA UK will make its official debut at the Coed-y-Brenin Fat Tire Festival, April 5-6 in Wales. The group has been working towards this launch with the help of IMBA staff and board members. Visit www.imba-uk.com for the latest info.

IMBA trail guru Joey Klein is travelling to Northern Ireland in April to help develop new mountain bike trails. Joey will be a keynote speaker at the Countryside Recreation Conference in Limavady, April 11, where he will describe the community and tourism benefits of mountain biking. Joey is also leading an IMBA Trailbuilding School in Belfast.

An advocacy crisis is brewing in Ontario. Government officials are proposing to close more than 75 percent of forest trails in the Waterloo area to mountain bikers because of environmental concerns. Waterloo is a popular riding destination for Toronto cyclists. For info contact IMBA's southern Ontario rep Mark Gehr at .

A number of fun and informative IMBA events are scheduled in Canada this summer. IMBA will celebrate its second-ever Canadian Epic at the Mansfield Outdoor Center in Alliston, Ontario, June 14-15. To register or get more info visit imba.com.
