Clif Bar Inc. Boosts IMBA Support
Clif Bar Inc. is increasing its IMBA support this year by sponsoring five important IMBA projects:
IMBA Hot Spots Sponsored by Clif Bar: Clif Bar has increased its sponsorship of this highly visible IMBA program. See page 3 for more on the 2003 Hot Spots program.
IMBA/Clif Bar Trail Preservation Grants: IMBA and Clif Bar will again provide financial support to IMBA-affiliated clubs through IMBA/Clif Bar Trail Preservation Grants. These grants help IMBA clubs preserve and enhance trail access, promote environmental education and inspire conservation in the mountain bicycling community.
CLIF SHOT and the National Mountain Bike Patrol: CLIF SHOT - an all-natural energy gel - is supporting the NMBP with cash and products. Each patrol group will receive a year's supply of CLIF SHOT to distribute to trail users.
CLIF BARS for Trailwork Days: Clif Bar will continue to donate tasty bars to fuel club trailwork sessions in 2003. IMBA-affiliated groups can request bars by completing an easy online form at imba.com/resources/grants at least three weeks in advance of the trail project.
Clif Bar Season Kickoff Care Packages: This spring, Clif Bar will distribute care packages to 150 IMBA-affiliated clubs to help power their volunteer projects. The packages include a variety of Clif products and other gifts.
