A partnership between the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Dept. is creating a new trail system at Keystone State Park in Manford, Oklahoma. With volunteer help and tools from the Oklahoma Earthbike Fellowship, four loops are being built for mountain bikers of all abilities. The Iowa Coalition of Off-Road Riders (ICORR) is initiating an adopt-a-trail strategy at the Sugar Bottom trail system. Groups of riders are encouraged to adopt and maintain trail sections and team for larger projects. The goal of this creative program is to keep Sugar Bottom's sweet singletrack well maintained and to expand the trail system. To get involved, contact IMBA's Iowa rep Rob Johnson at .

Pending approval from the Missouri Division of State Parks, Kansas City's Earth Riders, in conjunction with the Gateway Offroad Cyclists and Capitol City Cycling Club will soon begin construction of a new, multi-use trail in Lake of the Ozarks State Park.
