After eight years of lobbying by SORBA-CSRA, the U.S. Forest Service has completed the necessary NEPA studies and granted approval for re-routes of the Horn Creek Trail in South Carolina's Sumter National Forest. SORBA-CSRA and the Forest Service teamed to design the re-routes. Horn Creek Trail construction is underway by Bill Victor and Michael Burton's Long Cane Trails LLC.
In Georgia, SORBA has purchased and outfitted its fourth tool trailer and added another Toro Dingo trail machine to its world-class trailbuilding outfit. Several other trail user groups are interested in borrowing/renting SORBA's tool trailers and Dingo with a trained operator.
