Fall 2002

Thanks to Scott Linnenburger and Aaryn Kay of the Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Cew for coming to State College, Pennsylvania. Most of the trailwork day was spent working in the rain. Regardless of the weather conditions Scott and Aaryn's knowledge and dedication were clear to all of us who participated.

Tonight I easily answered two complex advocacy e-mails by referencing the IMBA website at www.imba.com. IMBA makes it easy to answer general but hard questions. It's good to know that IMBA is so organized that we are no longer "reinventing the wheel" with each crisis.

I just wanted to let you know that I am a walking billboard for IMBA. I have been wanting to get my first tattoo for a long time but I could never figure out what to get. I was flying out to Las Vegas and I was reading your newsletter when it hit me. I met up with my friends in Vegas and went to the closest tattoo shop. I am marked for life. Keep up the good work.
