  1. Become a member or renew your membership. Complete the membership form in this newsletter, call 888-442-4622 or visit imba.com.

  2. Contribute to IMBA's special fundraising campaigns. In addition to sending membership appeals and renewals, we also ask you to donate to other important IMBA initiatives.

  3. Take advantage of matching gifts. Many employers match charitable contributions made by their employees. Let us know if your company participates and we'll handle the necessary paperwork.

  4. Donate stocks of other securities. IMBA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All contributions are tax-deductible to the extent of the allowed law. Contact IMBA for more information.

  5. If you work for the federal government, contribute to IMBA through the Combined Federal Campaign. IMBA's CFC organization number is #1051. For details, visit www.opm.gov/cfc.

  6. Volunteer. IMBA utilizes volunteers in many ways. Become an IMBA state rep, volunteer at one of our events or come stuff envelopes at our Boulder, Colorado office.

  7. Convince your company to donate to IMBA. IMBA has more than 130 corporate members, but we need more support from the business community. Consider helping us arrange a donation with your company.

  8. Buy IMBA merchandise.

  9. Encourage friends to join IMBA. Have your riding buddies visit imba.com, give them a membership form, or simply pass their name and address on to us and we'll handle the rest.

  10. Include IMBA in your will. A bequest to IMBA will provide long-term support for mountain bike advocacy. The following wording will suffice, "I give to the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA), a Colorado non-profit corporation organized for charitable and educational purposes, whose principal office on the date hereof is located at 1121 Broadway, Boulder, CO, 80302, the sum of $______" (or specifically described property). Contact IMBA for more details.
