West Coast riders rejoice! IMBA will host two Epic Celebration Rides in your region this year. Join IMBA July 28-29 in Roseburg, Oregon, for an IMBA Epic in the dense forests along the North Umpqua Trail. On November 3-4, we'll lead an Epic at the Buckhorn Trail in Santa Barbara, California. For more info, including how to sign up, visit www.imba.com/epics.
A couple of big Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Crew visits are on tap. Between August 30-September 1, the crew will be in Bellingham, Washington, participating in a northwest advocacy summit at Kona headquarters. This is a great opportunity for Washington mountain bikers to learn key skills to become more effective trail advocates.
After the Bellingham summit, the crew will head north to Alaska to work with IMBA affiliate clubs in Anchorage and Sitka. While in Alaska, the crew will also meet with National Park Service leaders. This Alaska visit will be the first for IMBA's Trail Care Crew. More info on the Bellingham and Alaska crew visits can be found at www.imba.com/tcc.
If you're a central coast California mountain biker looking to get involved with a mountain bike club check out Team Wrong Way. Team Wrong Way has regularly scheduled trailwork sessions near Fairfield, Santa Cruz and Belmont. More info: www.teamwrongway.com
