In Missouri, the Earthriders club continues to grow and has more than 100 members.
The Ohio Trails Partnership, a coalition of Ohio's hiking, mountain biking, and equestrian trail users, will hold its second annual Trail-a-Thon fundraiser May 13. To get involved call IMBA Ohio Rep James Buratti at 614-486-2684 or surf to www.single-track.com.
Phase III is set to start at Oklahoma City's Draper Lake Mountain Bike Park. This phase will add to the system of trails built and maintained by the Oklahoma Earthbike Fellowship.
In Nebraska THOR have been transforming Lewis and Clark Monument from an old overgrown ATV area into a NORBA-style race loop. THOR is also planning a spring membership and volunteer drive. Contact Mike Resetar at for more info.
Wisconsin Off-Road Bicycling Association (worba.org) and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources - Parks Department are teaming to create new mountain bike, hiking, hunting and snowshoe trails at Blue Mound State Park. WORBA has also entered into agreement with the DNR on designing a maintenance plan for the famous Southern Kettle Moraine State Forest trails.
