Ned Overend, racing legend and inaugural world cross-country champion, has written a new book, "Mountain Bike Like a Champion." Produced in association with noted cycling journalist Ed Pavelka and published by Rodale, this 33-chapter effort is a thorough, readable text that covers all aspects of mountain biking. It includes a concise section about responsible riding and the importance of supporting IMBA.
A long-time IMBA backer, Overend has agreed to autograph copies of "Mountain Bike Like a Champion" for IMBA donors. Each IMBA member who contributes $100 or more to our annual year-end Save the Trails campaign will be sent a signed copy.
IMBA's year-end campaign will be announced by mail in early November. This annual effort, which is independent of our membership renewal campaigns, is designed to jump-start our work for the following year.
If you don't want to wait to get your signed Overend book copy, call or email IMBA's office. Unsigned copies of "Mountain Bike Like a Champion" are available at bicycle retailers for $16.95.
