IMBA revamps website through GreatOutdoors.com

Through a new partnership with the prominent online communications company GreatOutdoors.com, IMBA has completely revamped our website. The web address for IMBA's site remains www.imba.com.
IMBA has provided mountain biking information on its web site since 1996. The revamped site marks a significant step forward in the group's online presence. The new site offers more user-friendly organization, more photographs, and more appealing graphics. Browsing visitors will now be able to securely provide credit-card information to join (or renew) IMBA and purchase IMBA's merchandise and publications.
The site is divided into six main sections:
- About IMBA info about the organization and how to join
- Trail Care the site for the Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Crews, plus tips on building and maintaining trails
- Info & Action news, action alerts, opinions, calendar, library, and complete downloadable editions of past and current issues of IMBA Trail News
- Contacts IMBA's clubs, dealers, state reps, corporate sponsors, staff and board
- On Patrol the site for the National Mountain Bike Patrol, a partnership with the National Off Road Bicycle Association
- Cool Stuff IMBA merchandise and publications
"GreatOutdoors does a great job of building beautiful web pages that load fast." commented IMBA Communications Director Gary Sprung. The site is also accessible through a new, additional web address: www.imba.net.
GreatOutdoors.com is the leading community for outdoor enthusiasts on-line, offering interactivity, e-commerce, and referential information about snow sports and summer alpine and water sports. GreatOutdoors is a joint venture of Cox Interactive Media and the Outdoor Life Network.
GreatOutdoors.com has become an IMBA corporate member.
