A photo of a mountain biker playing the bagpipes alongside a quartet of traditionally-attired pipers has been selected the winner in IMBA's "What would we do without trails?" contest.
IMBA's newest ad campaign features the tagline "What would we do without trails?" and depicts mountain bike riders in improbable situations, such as playing shuffleboard, to demonstrate what cyclists might do if there were no trails to ride.
The contest encouraged mountain bikers to stretch their creativity and submit their own "What would we do without trails?" photograph. The winning photo was submitted by Russ Loucks of Eagan, MN. Russ wins a Juan Solo singlespeed mountain bike thanks to our friends at Salsa Cycles.
Below is a slideshow of the contest finalists (in no particular order) and the original three IMBA ads. The three ads are available as a set of posters in the IMBA Online Store for $15.
