-- Join IMBA this Thanksgiving in Celebrating Local Trails
In November, IMBA will mail thousands of thank you notes to their grassroots advocacy network as part of a campaign to thank land managers for their tireless work on behalf of trails. With Thanksgiving right around the corner, IMBA hopes all mountain bikers will take a moment to appreciate local trail staff and the people that make mountain bike access possible.
"With shrinking budgets and challenging work loads, land mangers are often the last group to be thanked for their public service," said IMBA government affairs director Jenn Dice. "This is our way of saying thanks for all the great places we get to ride our bikes. We want parks staff know how much they are appreciated."
IMBA's grassroots network has grown to 32,000 individual members and 500 affiliated bike clubs. IMBA members and clubs are in all 50 states and contribute almost one million hours of volunteer work annually on public and private land.
Register here for complimentary IMBA note cards to use to thank your local land managers. Be part of IMBA's campaign to say thanks!
