In the past few months, IMBA has appointed a number of new international representatives.
In North America IMBA has appointed three new representatives. IMBA is focusing a lot of attention on Canada this fall, and our new Saskatchewan rep Donna Shire ( ) will be a big part of this. Meanwhile, in Mexico, IMBA has appointed two new reps. Lizzette Rolland ( ) will handle issues near Mexico City, while Ivan Hernandez Romero ( ) will represent IMBA in the northern part of the country.
On the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, in Europe, IMBA has appointed two new reps in Scandinavia. Norway is well known for its cross-country skiing, but it also has some amazing mountain biking. IMBA Norway rep Truls Erik Johnsen ( ) will work to keep it that way. IMBA also has a rep in the land of Bjork, volcanoes and some surprisingly good mountain biking Iceland in the form of Runar Oli Karlsson ( ).
IMBA has also appointed two new representatives in Asia. In Israel, Jack Reardon ( ) has already done an exceptional job recruiting members and building trails. Meanwhile, in Sri Lanka, new IMBA rep Nishanthe Piyasena ( ) is working hard to make mountain biking a popular sport on this island country off the tip of India.
