The International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) is pleased to welcome Jenn Dice of Boulder, Colorado as its new fulltime advocacy director. Dice will direct IMBA's advocacy efforts to provide improved trail opportunities for mountain bikers around the world.

Dice brings to IMBA a wealth of experience working with government on a local, state and national level. For the past five years she worked with the Colorado General Assembly, both as a lobbyist for county issues and as a communications liaison among legislators, media and constituents. She also interned for U.S. Senator Larry Pressler of South Dakota, helping write speeches and committee testimony. Dice holds a master's degree in public administration from the University of Kansas, where she graduated with a multitude of honors awards. She is a passionate mountain biker, snowboarder and outdoor enthusiast who annually competes in the high altitude ultra-endurance Leadville Trail 100 mountain bike race.

Dice's leadership efforts at IMBA will include working with the National Park Service, U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management and national conservation groups. She will focus on strengthening IMBA's network of representatives, affiliated clubs and grassroots advocates. She will also direct IMBA's campaign to improve mountain bike trail access in urban areas.

"Jenn brings to IMBA a track record of successful government lobbying work, strong leadership skills and a love for mountain biking," said IMBA executive director Tim Blumenthal. "She will provide crucial professional leadership that will benefit IMBA and mountain bikers everywhere."
