10 Things that IMBA will do for Mountain Biking in Canada in 2005

IMBA's Canadian Office is running full speed ahead, and is committed to doing the following 10 things for mountain biking in Canada in 2005:

  1. Build a network of IMBA Canada Representatives coast-to-coast
  2. Teach 10 IMBA Trailbuilding Schools
  3. Build new trails through volunteer trailwork and IMBA's fee-based consulting program
  4. Distribute Clif Bar, Kona, and OCA trail grants to IMBA-affiliated clubs
  5. Increase industry support for mountain biking across Canada
  6. Fight mountain bike access battles and issue Action Alerts
  7. Provide up-to-date information to our members, via IMBA Trail News, monthly eNewsletters, and www.imba.com/canada
  8. Provide a consistent presence in Ottawa
  9. Send IMBA representation to key trails conferences across the country (including the North Shore World Mountain Bike Conference)
  10. Meet with (and influence) land managers dealing with mountain biking
