CLIF Bar Goes Above and Beyond for IMBA World Summit

Longtime IMBA supporter CLIF Bar has signed on as a Singletrack-level sponsor of the 2008 IMBA World Summit. The energy food company will provide funds for summit scholarships, along with support staff and healthy snacks for attendees at the four-day summit, held June 18-21 in Park City, Utah.

"We're excited to see CLIF taking a prominent role at the world summit," says IMBA development director Rich Cook. "With all the great seminars, social events and riding we have planned for the gathering I'm sure CLIF's energy foods will be put to good use."

CLIF's commitment to IMBA in 2008 will extend beyond the summit. The CLIF/IMBA Trail Preservation grants will continue in 2008. IMBA-affiliated clubs are invited to apply for cash grants to support trail restoration and preservation projects through this generous program. Additionally, CLIF will provide energy foods for a variety of IMBA-sponsored trailwork days in 2008. Finally, CLIF will continue its support for Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day, scheduled for Oct. 4, 2008.
