You belong with IMBA at two important gatherings in 2010. First, the National Bike Summit runs March 9-11 and will be held in Washington, DC. Just weeks later, the IMBA World Summit will be held May 5-8 in Augusta, Georgia. Registration is now available for both events.

National Bike Summit

IMBA is a proud sponsor of the League of American Bicyclist's National Bike Summit (NBS). IMBA's presence at the NBS includes sessions and workshops designed to help the mountain bike advocate lobby for public lands funding, protection and access. Join other mountain bike leaders, youth group organizers, retailers, club leaders, trailbuilders, bicycle suppliers and other leading voices as we unite for three powerful days in the Capitol.

Register for the NBS today. Hurry, as early registration pricing ends soon.

World Mountain Bike Summit

We expect the 2010 IMBA World Summit to be our largest international gathering yet. Topics will include developing destination trails and urban trail networks. We will address land conservation and sustainable trails, youth outreach and new programs designed to grow local capacity for the 700+ clubs and patrols in IMBA’s global network.

In addition to informative seminars and networking, the gathering will feature great parties and plenty of riding -- including a closing day tour of the Forks Area Trail System, an IMBA Epic.

IMBA's most recent Wold Summit was held in 2008 at Park City, Utah. The gathering attracted more than 400 delegates from over a dozen nations, and yielded a bevy of useful online resources.

Registration for the 2010 World Summit is now open.
