IMBA Helps Build Surry, B.C. Trails

IMBA Canada leaders Mark Schmidt and Lora Woolner will contribute to a 3-day B.C. Recreation and Parks conference in Surrey, B.C. Feb. 15-19. They will also help lead trailwork at the popular South Surrey Bike Park on Saturday, February 19th.

The Surrey Off Road Cycling Enthusiasts Society (SORCE) has worked in cooperation with the City of Surrey on the Bike Park project the past five years and looks forward to IMBA's support. SORCE Trail Coordinator Patrick Vipond comments, "The timing is perfect. We will be getting the park ready for our mountain bike race series in April and IMBA will boost the profile of our upcoming volunteer trailwork session."
