Oregon Earns 'A' Mark, Scotland Honored Again in 2006 IMBA Report Card
(12-21-06) The 2006 IMBA Report Card hails Oregon and Scotland, while handing demerits to British Columbia and Montana. The Report Card, now in its eighth edition, gauges the riding opportunities and advocacy strength in the United States, Canadian Provinces and nations with significant IMBA activities.

IMBA Board of Directors Gains Three New Members
(11-20-06) Online and mail-in votes cast by members of the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) this fall elected three new members to IMBA's board of directors. The balloting also saw three standing members -- Hill Abell, Tom Clyde and Steve Flagg -- reelected to two-year terms.

2006 Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day a Global Success
(10-30-06) Now in its third year, IMBA's Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day program continues to improve and expand. In 2006, the day was celebrated in locations as diverse as Yokohama City, Japan, Treviso, Italy, and Chiluca, Mexico. More than 100 groups registered their rides on IMBA's website for the 2006 edition of the annual celebration.

International Field Will Assemble for IMBA Summit/World Mountain Bike Conference
(05-17-06) Early registration for the 2006 IMBA Summit/World Mountain Bike Conference (June 20-23 in Whistler, BC) indicates the event will be truly global affair. From Australia to Sri Lanka, a diverse gathering of nearly 300 attendees has signed on for the three-day program, which includes seminars on mountain bike tourism, trail design and other topics related to the high-growth sport of mountain biking.
