South Yuba IMBA Epic Slideshow

The first Epic celebration of the year, held mid-May on Northern California's South Yuba Trail, was a big success. More than 70 IMBA members completed a day-long trailwork project in the Tahoe National Forest on Saturday. The next day, participants were treated to 34 miles of mountain biking bliss including 17 miles of uninterrupted singletrack along the South Yuba River.

Special thanks to Duane Strawser from Tour of Nevada City Bicycle Shop, John Gardiner and all the volunteers with Bicyclists of Nevada County (BONC) for their help organizing the IMBA Epic weekend. Also thanks to Bill Haire and Rick Weaver with the Tahoe National Forest and Epic sponsors Santa Cruz Bicycles and Bike Magazine.

While this IMBA Epic Celebration was a one-time event, IMBA encourages mountain bikers everywhere to check out this northern California classic on their own. We hope this slideshow inspires you to add the South Yuba Trail to your list of "must rides."
