2008 IMBA Epics Nomination

Think your trail is worthy of the IMBA Epics designation?

Each year IMBA selects a handful of great rides around the world to receive this special honor.

When selecting rides to receive the IMBA Epics designation we consider many factors, including input from IMBA staff, IMBA state reps, the Epics program sponsors, and mountain bikers everywhere. We'll also consider geographic distribution, trail popularity, local land manger relations, nearby IMBA affiliated clubs and many other factors.

To nominate a trail, please send an email to info@imba.com answering ALL of the following questions. Thanks!

• Your name, email address, and telephone number.
• Name of trail.
• Location.
• Length of ride (miles and average time).
• Amount of climbing.
• Short description of route.
• Percent of singletrack, double track, dirt road, and paved road.
• Land management agency responsible for trail.
• Local IMBA affiliated club.
• Local IMBA affiliated bike shop.
• Directions to and description of trailhead.
• Distances from nearby cities.
• Other awards or honors trail has received.
• Are mountain bikers currently involved in trailwork projects on this route?
• What special features make this ride epic?
